Although you are just starting a new academic year at Perth College UHI, it's never too early to start thinking about your next steps and what you would like to do at the end of this year, or at the end of your studies.
A range of advice and support is available at Perth College UHI to help you whenever you want to start thinking about your options:
- You will have regular meetings with your Student Adviser to discuss your progress and your Personal Development Plan will give you the opportunity to develop a plan to move you towards your chosen goals. It will also help you to identify what skills and knowledge you build during your time at Perth College UHI.
- Your course may have a work placement part to it and if so this is a great opportunity to learn more about what sort of careers are available in your subject area and to make useful contacts.
- The College’s Guidance and Counselling Adviser provides a careers guidance and planning service, and offers information and advice on applying to universities, where to look for job vacancies, writing a CV, completing application forms and more.
