Diana Borowski, Research and Knowledge Exchange Associate
- MA in European Interdisciplinary Studies, College of Europe (Warsaw campus)
- BA in International Relations, University of Technology Dresden
Diana joined the Centre for Mountain Studies in July 2010, as part of the GEOSPECS team. This project organizes research into areas with “geographic specificities” – such as mountain areas, islands, border areas and others – in order to establish a coherent framework to characterize geographic specificities. The aim is to assess the degree to which regions with geographic specificities contribute to the achievement of European transversal objectives and in the long run to formulate policy options to make European regional policies more efficient. Diana is responsible for the coordination between the different partners of the project, for the dissemination of research results and for the research on mountain areas as one of the regions with geographic specificities.
