Scotland's newest university
As a leading partner in the University of the Highlands and Islands we now have degree-awarding powers, so students successfully completing undergraduate and postgraduate taught degrees and other awards (CertHE, DipHE, PgCert, PgDip) receive them from the UHI rather than from the Open University.
It is a significant milestone in the development of UHI and recognition of the hard work that has been done by everyone involved. On behalf of the UHI board of governors, we would like to thank our MSc partners and students who have helped us along this journey.
