Enjoy life at Perth College UHI

Voted the best place to live in Scotland, Perth is one of the friendliest cities in Britain, but that doesn't mean it's a sleepy little town.

With loads of cafes, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and a concert hall and a theatre, the night life in Perth offers something for all tastes and ages: from class and sophistication to cheap and cheerful!

You'll find life at Perth College UHI as exciting as you want it to be. From making friends and meeting new people across a range of courses and classes, to taking advantage of our fantastic new hairdressing salon and enjoying a slap-up meal in our award-winning student restaurant. It's all here!

Perthshire is often called the outdoor sports and adventure capital of Scotland, and rightly has a fantastic reputation for mountain biking, watersports and hill walking, all set in some of the best scenery in the country.

As well as gyms and leisure facilities across the area, Perth also has its own leisure pool, an ice rink for Scotland’s national sport, curling, and has as its local football team, St Johnstone FC. The Saints play in the Scottish Premier League and their home ground is McDiarmid Park.

And don't forget our student union right in the heart of our campus. With a Costa coffee bar and  special student prices, pool table, comfy furniture you can chill out on and enough space for live bands, the Union is the coolest place on campus...

Also based in the Union is our Students' Association which organises a host of events throughout the year, including the annual Freshers' Fair and Graduation Ball, as well as bar nights and promotions.
