Festive break

We close for the festive break on Wednesday 21 December and reopen on Thursday 5 January.

Have a Happy Christmas and New Year!

The Future is Zero Waste

Our next Chamber business lecture (with free admission and refreshments) is on Thursday 17 November, when experts from Binnwaste Management will outline the importance of waste disposal issues to businesses.

They will detail how to combat increasing costs, comply with government targets as detailed in their Zero Waste Policy and reduce the financial and physical demands of waste disposal on your business.

Members of the management team at the Glenfarg complex will talk businesses through issues such as recycling, new food disposal legislation, SDF (solid derivative fuel) and the creation of a futuristic Eco Park at Binn Farm.

Every business creates waste, especially those creating food waste, including small boarding houses and cafes to major hotels and restaurants and those businesses especially are encouraged to attend to learn how to throw away rubbish effectively to prevent throwing away money.

These sessions provide an excellent opportunity to network with a diverse range of local business people as well as providing business advice that could be taken away and used – both very valuable outcomes from an interesting series of events.

Booking is now open and places on this free event are open to member and local businesses, their staff and clients. It runs 5.30–7.30pm, so to book call 01738 450401 or email events@perthshirechamber.co.uk

Revamp for our Brahan foyer

Work's just started on upgrading the entrance area of our Brahan building, so by the time most of our students join us, things should be looking great.
