Blown Away with Scotland’s coolest adventure company.
We were delighted to hear ex-Perth College UHI students Guy and Jamie McKenzie of Blown Away to give a talk on their business journey. They set up Blown Away Experiences outdoors activity company in 2007 to offer land yacht experiences. Since then Guy and Jamie have gone to build up a highly successful business and win a raft of rewards along the way, including the Scottish Thistle Award in 2010 under the Young Tourism Entrepreneurs category.
The twins are still only in their early twenties but impressed the audience with their energetic and informative talk on the diverse and exciting activities Blown Away offers. During a lively question and answer session the company branding and future development plans were discussed. Over lunch the students had an opportunity to further discuss their studies and future careers on a more individual basis and get top tips from Guy and Jamie.
