Gordon FraserWorking smarter with Perth College UHI

Just twelve months ago, business owner Gordon Fraser, co-owner of Gordons of Perth, knew very little about what went on behind the doors of his local college.

But since then he’s gone on to become an enthusiast about the work the College’s Centre for Enterprise does, and even works in partnership with them to help local businesses develop.

Over the past year, he’s taken advantage of many of the resources on offer.

He explained, “The Centre for Enterprise provides some great opportunities for businesses to learn and swap thoughts and ideas with industry leaders and peers alike.

“For example, Business Breakfasts are very useful in combining relevant business topics and networking opportunities.

“Big Munchies and New Biz Conferences have given my business some valuable insights into how some of Scotland's leading entrepreneurs have succeeded.

“I’ve also attended various workshops and seminars which have been thought-provoking and stimulating.

“In fact, my wife and I have been so impressed with what the Centre for Enterprise does, that we’re now working in partnership with them, providing funding to help other local businesses develop.

“The people who work in the Centre have been welcoming, thoroughly professional and committed to making Perth College UHI the centre of business support in Perth.

“This is a marvellous resource, so whether you’re a start-up, sole trader or partnership, your business can only benefit from contacting the Centre for Enterprise.”
