About this course
Develop an understanding of the use of accounting information within a business organisation. You will develop the skills required to prepare basic financial and management accounting reports and about the sources of finance available to an organisation. This course allows you to progress towards HNC AIT and HNC Business.
On completion you will receive 2 HN Credits at SCQF level 7
By the end of this course you should be able to:
- Prepare basic financial accounting information.
- Prepare basic management accounting information.
- Identify the users of financial information and the decisions for which they require this information.
- Describe the various sources of finance available to an organisation.
- Assess the performance and financial position of a business.
