 Chartered Management Institute Executive Diploma In Management

CMI management trainingAbout this course  

To be a successful manager in any organisation you need to be able to take informed management decisions. This course aims to give you that ability by providing you with a clear and comprehensive understanding of good management practice and techniques. By studying management theories and models you will have the skills to make effective decisions.

You will be registered with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) as an affiliate member, and completion of this course provides you with a professional qualification from the CMI.

Based on the Scottish Qualifications Framework this qualification is positioned at Level 11 and is equivalent to postgraduate level.

A Student Scholarship is available.

Assessment is by a series of reports and a project. 

Self-study is through a virtual learning environment and there are optional workshops on campus.

Getting started 

You should have a Diploma in Management or equivalent and some work experience, but previous experience and credentials may still qualify you for this course. Please make an appointment with a member of College staff to discuss your eligibility.

Careers and Training

The Executive Diploma may provide you with access to the final year of Masters level study. It will improve your job prospects and equip you with the skills and abilities you need to take on a more senior position within management. Success in this course will make you a valuable resource in any organisation and improve your chances of achieving your career goals.

This course costs £1,600 and CMI Registration is included in the course fee.  You may be eligible for ILA funding of £200 or for the SAAS part-time fee grant.
