About this course
For those who have already completed an HNC, the HND Business has a
strong managerial focus which enables graduates to progress more quickly to management roles. In addition, a range of options allows you to prepare for a career or further studies in a number of specialist areas, for example, human resource
management, marketing, and financial services. The course includes: statistics; finance; enterprise; human resources; management; business culture and strategy; ICT in business; the world economy and a business project. You will also have the chance to take part in an overseas study trip. This course qualifies for the Student Scholarship Programme.
Getting started
Two Higher Grades, including English, and two Standard Grades including English or Maths.
Either of our HNC Business courses should provide you with direct entry to Year 2. If you don’t meet our entry requirements, your previous experience and credentials may still qualify you for this course. Please arrange an appointment with a member of College staff to discuss your eligibility.

The HND leads you to Year 3 of our Business and Management degree where a choice can be made to specialise in various areas of the curriculum including: finance; HRM; marketing and enterprise. You will be ready to take up a career in a variety of environments including banking, finance, retail management, marketing, enterprise and human resource management.
