About this course

This Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) module is designed for those with some previous computer knowledge, ideally as a follow-on from Information and Communication Technology Level 4. 

You will learn how to use an IT system effectively and perform more complex processes using a range of application packages.  The focus of this unit is the development of transferable skills and knowledge associated with information technology.

Various start dates, 40 hours over 20 weeks, £86.

This course automatically credits successful students with the Higher Still Core Skills in Information Technology at SCQF Level 5.

Information and Communication Technology Level 4 or previous experience of MS Word, Excel and Access.

Funding
