If you’re looking for an affordable holiday in historic Perthshire or the beautiful Highlands and Islands over the summer, our residences make an ideal base for travelling around Scotland in June, July and early August.
With excellent public transport links, lots of car parking - free late June, all of July and early August - and secure cycle racks, you can get easy access to the rest of the country from our open campus in Perth.
During the summer break we offer up to 72 beds in our value-for-money on-campus hostel residences, with each of the three blocks having its own secure entry system.
Study-bedrooms are contemporary and comfortable, and contain a bed, wardrobe, chair and desk.
Accommodation is self-catering, so each floor has a common kitchen, dining and and living area and single or twin bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.
Kitchens have an oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer and there’s a laundry room next door with coin-operated automatic washing machines and tumble dryers.
Our residences are home to Perth College UHI students in term-time, but run by Hostelling Scotland (SYHA) as a hostel over the summer, open to groups and individual holiday makers, tourists and backpackers looking for high-quality, budget accommodation in Perth.
We can also offer academic groups the hire of our lecture theatres, classrooms and IT suites, with computing and audio-visual support from our technicians.
