'Solving Crime and Murder' - a lecture by Professor Anthony Busuttil
Professor Busuttil, Emeritus Professor of Forensic Medicine at The University of Edinburgh, visited Perth College UHI to deliver a lecture entitled 'Solving Crime and Murder' to students on the HNC Applied Sciences, Access to Science and Gateway to Highers courses.
Pathway to Medicine moves on
After completing a successful three-year pilot phase, the innovative Pathway to Medicine course at Perth College UHI is now an established part of the curriculum. In collaboration with Bute Medical School at the University of St Andrews, the course offers students from non-traditional backgrounds the chance to gain a guaranteed place at medical school by achieving a high level pass on the one-year HNC Applied Sciences course.

“Pathway to Medicine” (HNC Applied Sciences)
"...it has been very intense, hard work, but I’ve loved every minute of it. People tell me I smile every time I mention the college" – Cassandra Smith
"The teaching in Perth is superb. They truly understand that you may have been out of education for years so they take it really slowly to begin with and eventually pick up the pace after a month or two. The teachers are mostly available for tutorial sessions if you're having trouble... you have the best teaching available.” - Alex Davidson
