David Duncan is the Curriculum Manager for Motor Vehicle Engineering.
David has worked within the Motor Industry for more than 35 years and with Perth College UHI since 1997, where he has held the position of Motor Vehicle Manager.
He proudly boasts his connections within the motor vehicle training and development industry sector in achieving and maintaining partnerships with industry leaders for Perth College UHI, which in turn bring many rewards in facilities, technology and equipment for all motor vehicle learners.
David's main role is to manage and develop programmes for both full- and part-time learners, ensure the achievement of quality across all levels, operate within a commercially aware and customer focussed environment and have the agility to meet the demands of our customers, including all of our learners.
The department is very well resourced. Staff are highly qualified and experienced practitioners in their field – through the range of mechanics, body repairers and refinishers with a highly qualified complementary team of motor vehicle assessors and verifiers that continually support our learners both within the College and at employer premises. All are committed to keeping up with the latest practices, and are committed to self-development and improvements in the department.
