Ian Gibb is the Curriculum Manager for Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure at Perth College UHI.
He has extensive worldwide industrial experience within the industry, having achieved many industry awards. Ian also holds extensive further and higher education qualifications, the most recently being a Master’s degree. His post at Perth College UHI enables him to travel and promote our curriculum throughout the world, an aspect of the role he finds absolutely fascinating. Ian believes the blend of uniqueness within our programmes combined with our industry partners and a terrific team is the key to our global success.

Gisele Reid, Hospitality Lecturer
Gisele has been involved in education for more than 20 years and feels very passionate about educating our students to the highest standard to allow them to go out into the hospitality industry with a solid foundation. She has obtained many qualifications up to MBA in Hospitality Management. These have enabled her to deliver teaching to the highest standard, which has resulted in students winning a variety of competitions at a national level. Gisele encourages our students to go out into industry and make a real difference.
Rhona McLuskey, Hospitality Storekeeper and Part-time Lecturer
Rhona is enthusiastic about delivering a high-quality educational experience to Perth College UHI students in the Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure Department. Her strong point is communicating with students at all levels, the priority being ensuring they have fun during their time at Perth College UHI while studying on their chosen course.
Clive Lamb, Chef Lecturer
After working several years in a four-star country house hotel in Aberdeenshire, Clive relocated to Loch Lomond to work in the five-star Cameron House Hotel. He left there as senior sous chef to take up the post as head chef at Murrayshall in Scone. During Clive's time there, he did some part-time lecturing, which led onto a full-time teaching career at Perth College UHI.
Elaine Watson, Part-Time Hospitality Lecturer
Elaine lectures one day a week at Perth College UHI. She also has a full-time position at Gleneagles Hotel as a Food and Beverage trainer. Elaine has been with Gleneagles for 22 years, and her background is in restaurant management. She enjoys running the Taysuite restaurant for lunch service to give our hospitality students real environments in which to learn service skills. Elaine takes great pride in watching the students grow in confidence and either find a job in hospitality or continue their education at Perth College UHI.
