Our custom built library is a modern space which gives our students access to thousands of resources, including books, journals and multi-media items.
We have created new learning spaces, like our learning café, which helps students to learn in new and innovative ways. We have instilled a culture of exploration, so that students have access to 'real life' tools and experiences, like student exchange, work study, and cutting-edge software.
We love the campus environment, but we know that not all our students can come to the College campus, which is why we have made large investments in technology and off-campus facilities; many of our courses are also available in your workplace, in our Local Learning Centres, through video conference or online, so students can study with us no matter where they are in the world!
Hairdressing, Beauty and Complementary Therapies Department Facilities
Our salons have recently been refurbished and are kitted out with the advanced tools, products and therapies you will find in the industry. Perth College UHI operates three commercial salons, and students learn by working with actual clients. The beauty salon features 18 beds, a stand and tan sun bed, sauna and steam cabinet.
In addition, complementary therapy students can offer aromatherapy, reflexology, and several types of massage therapies in our nine bed complementary therapy salon. Our Hairdressing Salon is brand new, with 30 stations and state-of-the-art facilities for students and clients.
