Consultation on our Single Equality Scheme
We are currently shaping our Single Equality Scheme and are grateful for the comments of our students, staff and community groups in helping us identify areas for inclusion and action. Our Single Equality Scheme will cover the nine characteristics protected under the Equality Act 2010: age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation.
On our opening Equality and Diversity page, you can find a powerpoint presentation used as part of the consultation process. This is very much the start of a 'work in progress' and we'd be delighted to have your views on areas or points you feel are important to help shape our Single Equality Scheme.
